Description
Clear Coating Epoxy Resin is a water clear, UV stable, low viscosity resin system for coating, doming and resin art applications up to 2mm. It is a solvent free epoxy specifically formulated as a clear, ultra-high gloss coating system that will self-level and cure at room temperature.
Mixing Ratio
90 parts hardener to 100 parts resin by weight
1 part hardener to 1 part resin by volume
Pot Life – 100g @ 25ºC (in air): 38 minutes
Applying
Pour the contents into a container and stir the two ingredients thoroughly, for at least 3 minutes. Stirring slowly will reduce the air entrapment (bubbles) Clear Coating Epoxy will self-level to produce a very high gloss finish. For best results apply at temperatures between 15ºC and 35ºC, and at below 85 percent humidity.
Air bubble release is greatly enhanced by the use of a small heat gun or mini gas torch. Hold the torch approximately 100 to 150mm off the surface and keep moving the flame across the surface. Clear Coating Epoxy Resin Epoxy should be cured in a warm 25°C, dust free area.
